glacier national park

Glacier National Park is the #1 tourist draw to northwest Montana, and for a number of good reasons. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but when you add in all the other things Glacier Park has to offer it is a vacation made in heaven. You can experience over 1,000,000 acres; a hikers paradise with more than 700 miles of maintained trails. The park is open daily, year-round, but some visitor services such as hotels, tours and restaurants, are only open from late May into September. If you only have a couple days to visit Glacier Park, here is a great recommendation, “Glacier National Park Vacation on a Time Budget”.

Whispering Pines Cabins are the perfect place to stay if you want to visit Glacier National Park. The hotels in the park are quite expensive and you’ll need to make reservations a year in advance in most cases. If you stay with us you get to experience Glacier, Flathead Lake and all of the surrounding attractions this area offers.

Did you know that you can fish in any of Glacier Park’s 200 lakes and you don’t need a license? Be aware that “catch & release” is the policy, but there is no limit on the fun you can have.
